One of the most popular games in the life simulation game niche is The Sims, which was first released on PC in 2000. Many fans of The Sims have been looking forward to the release of Paralives due to the limited options in the current released version of The Sims 4.
The Sims 4 is also planning it's own huge update called Project Rene, which aims to make customization more detailed and dynamic. There is no planned release date yet for Project Rene or an announcement for The Sims 5.
The Sims 4 is currently free-to-play as a base game, with over 20 different expansions and packs you can buy as addons.
