MapleStory Sia Astelle Skill Build Guide

June 13, 2025

Sia Astelle is a brand new exclusive class to MapleStory GMS that uses a unique combat system involving Constellation Skills. She is a Magician class and is the first job of the Shine branch introduced into MapleStory.

This class is available from June 11th 2025 in GMS for all to play and was released during the MapleStory Stargazer Update as part of MapleStory GMS's Summer Update.

Sia Astelle Overview

Sia Astelle starts their adventure in the town of Oort, where their trusty companion Antares goes missing. When you first make the character, you'll have to go through a 30-minute story tutorial where you'll finish up at Level 30 by the end of it.

Stellar Gram

Sia Astella uses Marking Skills to activate Constellation Skills. When you use a Marking Skill, it gets added to your Stellagram Fusion (which can be seen on map UI). Depending on which Marking Skills you use, this will then activate the corresponding Constellation Skill. You can manually use Constellation Skills by hot-keying them, however, they won't have their fusion effect.

As you get to 5th job, you unlock Shine, which will make all Constellation Skills use their fusion benefit by manual pressing.

There are a lot of Constellation Skills that you'll pick up all the way to 6th job, so managing them can seem a little overwhelming at the start. You'll learn the best ones to use for training and bossing come with playing the class. It is a VERY flashy class, with lots of amazing animations and cool constellation-themed skills moving across your screen.

Sia is originally a class that was added to MapleStory M, the mobile version of MapleStory. The GMS team has since taken this class and revamped it so that it works and plays like a modern MapleStory Class. It was first previewed with the Stargazer Preview Update notes.

Check out the New MapleStory Class Preparation Guide for getting ready to play your new Sia Astelle.

Sia Astelle First Job Skill Build

You can max all of your skills in first job. Follow this build:

  • Ray (+1)
  • Starry Flow (MAX)
  • Ray (MAX)
  • Starlight (MAX)
  • Astral Movement (MAX)
  • Stellar I - Antares
  • Astral Magic Guard (MAX)
  • Starry Leap (MAX)

Sia Astelle's main attacking skill in first job is Ray; once you activate four constellations Stellar I - Antares will activate, which will deal damage in a single spot and suck enemies into it.

You'll want to max Starry Flow early on as this is your Teleport skill, as the Starry Leap skill is only a vertical up-jump skill.

Next max Starlight, which will add additional attacks to your attacking skills. Then finish off with Astral Magic Guard for survivability.

With second job, Sia get's a new attacking skill called Boom and a new Constellation Skill called Stellar II - Algol. Algol is a great constellation skill to have active as it will attack across the map, helping you clear mobs a lot faster.

You get two skills here that improve attack speed: Oort Wave and Astral Force, so add at least 1 point into them early on.

Celestial Alignment is a buff that increases Critical Damage and Astral Energy improves your MP consumption.

In third Job, your new attacking skill Pole has a cooldown, so it's best to continue using Boom from second job.

You get plenty of passive damage boosts in third job, with Starlight Enhancement II, Stellar Enhancement and Astral Elements all adding decent damage.

The new Constellation Skills are not great and all have cooldowns that can make managing them a little tricky. Formalhaut seemed the best one, with Bellatrix being decent for boosting damage.

Astral Invincibility is good for preventing knockback and you get a teleport boost with Starry Boost so max that early.

  • Appear (MAX)
  • Link (MAX)
  • Stellar VIII - Sadalmelik (MAX)
  • Pulse (MAX)

In fourth job, your new Marking skill is Link, which will heal you when cast. It's real benefit is using it to cast Stellar IV - Izar, which will summon three blades that deal damage to mobs all around the map. You need to cast Link, Boom and Pole in your Stellagram Fusion to cast it automatically.

Combine this with casting Stellar VII - Vega and you get yourself some great map control skills.

You get lots of passive damage buffs, with Empowered Ray, Stellar Enhancement II, Starlight Enhancement III, Astral Assimilation and Astral Inifity all giving you damage boosts to previous skills.

Appear will give you final damage for 10 seconds (but you can boost this with Hyper Skills). It will mostly be used during bursts and bossing.

Each class gets their own skills to use, along with boosting nodes to increase the damage of existing skills. To obtain new skills, you open up items called Nodestones, which drop from every mob in Arcane River. You have limited number of slots in your V Matrix, so you want to obtain perfect nodes for maximize your character's damage.

Sia Astelle's Nodes should include:

  • Shine
  • Stellar XI - Sirius
  • Stellar XII - Sadalsuud
  • Savior’s Circle

Sia Astelle Tri-Nodes

Tri-Nodes refers to having three skills combined together via Nodestones. For this class, we recommend having the following trinodes:

  • Trio: Starlight, Boom, Stellar II - Algol
  • Trio: Stellar I - Antares, Pole, Stellar VI - Izar
  • Trio: Stellar IX - Canopus, Ray, Stellar V - Fomalhaut

This class is very node heavy, since you will use most of these skills. The only one not included is Vega, but you can also max that when you have enough nodes.
