MapleStory Hayato Skill Build Guide - Remastered 2026

February 13, 2026

Hayato is a MapleStory class that originated from the Japanese version of MapleStory. Wielding long Katana blades, Hayato slashes and dashes towards its enemies, making it a really fun and mobile class to play.

With the brand new Remastered version of Hayato releasing in 2026, Hayato's Link Skill becomes one of the best for end-game players.

Hayato Overview

Hayato was given a brand new revamp for patch V266 The Sengoku Warrior Reawakening.

Hayato was first released in March 2013 in patch 131 in GMS, a month after the release of the other Sengoku class Kanna. They use two types of weapons: the Katana as their main weapon and the Kodachi for the sub weapon. Hayato excels at mobility, with plenty of damage-dealing teleport skills to zip you around large maps and wipe out enemies.

In terms of training Hayato, they are a really mobile and fun class to play. There are a lot of cooldown skills to manage, but you'll be focusing on keeping up your Akatsuki Samurai buff by using [Bottou] skills intermittently. When you reach 5th job, this doesn't really become an issue anymore.

As a bossing class, Hayato is a decent entry. With the new remastered version, Hayato now has damage skills that put it in the top tier of classes for MapleStory. They have an short cooldown i-frame skill called Reactive Focus, and a couple of 5th job skills also carry short i-frames when activated.

Check our our MapleStory Training Guide to help find the fastest maps to level up your characters.
