Pink Bean is one of the early bosses you'll face in modern MapleStory and you'll be required to complete all of the Temple Of Time prequests in order to face it.
There are two versions of Pink Bean: normal and chaos. Pink Bean drops the Holy Cup item, which is one of the best in slot items for your Pocket Equipment Slot.
Whilst the questline for fighting Pink Bean isn't very difficult, it is quite long and requires a bit of grinding. Once complete, you can face Pink Bean once per day!
Make sure you keep hold of any Mask items you find from mobs during this prequest; you'll need them at the end!
Pink Bean Prequests
Level Requirement: Level 140
Time Required: 1 hour
Pink Bean resides in the Temple Of Time area of MapleStory. In order start the quest, you need to accept [Temple Of Time] Path to the Past either from your quest icon or by speaking to NPC Temple Keeper at Temple Of Time Three Doors.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down Memory Lane 1.
Defeat 100 Memory Monk at Memory Lane 1.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down Memory Lane 2.
Defeat 100 Memory Monk Trainee at Memory Lane 2.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down Memory Lane 3.
Defeat 100 Memory Guardian at Memory Lane 3.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down Memory Lane 4.
Defeat 100 Chief Memory Guardian at Memory Lane 4.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down Memory Lane 5.
Defeat 1x Dodo at Memory Lane 5. Dodo is a mini boss so it only spawns every x amount of hours. Try changing channel to see if spawns in other maps if you're having trouble hunting it.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest.
Accept the quest [Temple Of Time] Lost Memory from Temple Keeper.
Head to Time Lane Resting Spot of Memory. From there head to Time Lane Memory Keeper's Room and speak to Memory Keeper to complete the quest.
Speak to Memory Keeper and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] Memory Keeper.
A lightbulb will appear above your head; accept the quest and you'll talk to someone from the beginning of your Job Advancement. Next speak to Memory Keeper to complete the quest.
Head back to Three Doors and speak to Temple Keeper and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down the Road of Regrets 1.
Defeat 100 Qualm Monk at Road Of Regrets 1.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down the Road of Regrets 2.
Defeat 100 Qualm Monk Trainee at Road Of Regrets 2.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down the Road of Regrets 3.
Defeat 100 Qualm Guardian at Road Of Regrets 3.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down the Road of Regrets 4.
Defeat 100 Chief Qualm Guardian at Road Of Regrets 4.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down the Road of Regrets 5.
Defeat 1x Lilynouch at Road Of Regrets 5. Lilynouch is a mini boss so it only spawns every x amount of hours. Try changing channel to see if spawns in other maps if you're having trouble hunting it.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] Frozen Emotions.
Head to Time Lane Rest Spot Of Regret and then move to Sorcerer's Room. Speak to Sorcerer to complete the quest.
Speak to Sorcerer and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The Sorcerer Who Sells Emotions.
You'll be given Sorcerer's Potion. Drink it and you'll die. Respawn and complete the quest by talking to Sorcerer.
Head back to Three Doors and speak to Temple Keeper and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down the Road to Oblivion 1.
Defeat 100 Oblivion Monk at Road to Oblivion 1.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down the Road to Oblivion 2.
Defeat 100 Oblivion Monk Trainee at Road to Oblivion 2.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down the Road to Oblivion 3.
Defeat 100 Oblivion Guardian at Road to Oblivion 3.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down the Road to Oblivion 4.
Defeat 100 Chief Oblivion Guardian at Road to Oblivion 4.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Temple Of Time] The One Who Walks Down the Road to Oblivion 5.
Defeat 1 Lyka at Road to Oblivion 5.
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and accept the quest [Pink Bean] Goddess's Blessing.
Head to Time Lane Record Keeper's Room and speak to Record Keeper to complete the quest.
Head back to Three Doors and speak to Temple Keeper and accept the quest [Pink Bean] Force Field.
You'll need to get the following:
- Smiley Mask x10 (dropped from Memory Monk)
- Neutral Mask x10 (dropped from Qualm Monk)
- Frowny Mask x10 (dropped from Oblivion Monk)
- Whale's Helmet (dropped from Dodo)
- Knight's Mask (dropped from Lilynouch)
- Guardian's Horn (dropped from Lyka)
Speak to Temple Keeper to complete the quest and you'll receive Marble Of Chaos. You can now go fight Pink Bean!
Speak to Temple Keeper and accept the quest [Pink Bean] Beyond The Ruins.
Head to Time Lane Road To Oblivion 5. Head to the bottom right corner of the map and find the Hidden Field.
Follow the maps to your right and you'll come to Forgotten Twilight. Here you can speak to Forgotten Temple Keeper to start the Pink Bean fight.
