MapleStory - Riena Strait Theme Dungeon Guide

Riena Strait is a theme dungeon in MapleStory that lower-level players can complete to get some quick level ups and early gear. This guide will walk you through all the quests of the Theme Dungeon.

Riena Strait can be started at Level 30.

You can start the Theme Dungeon at any Level and the monsters will scale up to a max level of 59 based on your current level. That means if you started the Theme Dungeon at Level 46, all mobs would be around level 46.

This makes it so the EXP is always relative to your current level and allow you to get some quick and easy early levels in your MapleStory Grind! Check out our MapleStory Training Guide for alternative leveling up maps.

Riena Strait

To begin Riena Strait, you can open up your Maple Guide and select the Riena Strait Theme Dungeon. The dungeon takes around 30 minutes to complete and should net you around 10 levels.

Speak to Lilin to begin the quest Quest: (Lv. 30) [Riena Strait] Get it Strait.

Speak to Lilin to complete the quest.

Speak to Lilin to accept the quest [Riena Strait] Strait Talk Express.

Head to map Snow Island Penguin Port and speak to Puro to head to Riena Strait - Glacial Observatory.

Speak to Putan to complete the quest and start the quest [Riena Strait] I Should Buy A Boat.

Speak to Dachi to complete the quest and start the quest [Riena Strait] Maybe I Shouldn't Have Gotten A Boat

You are required to bring back 3 pieces of Good Lumber.

Speak to Helmsan Tanya at the Glacial Observatory to take control of your ship.

Here you'll be in control of your ship and can find the three pieces of Good Lumber. Click each one to acquire the items and then return back to Dachi and complete the quest.

Speak to Putan to start the quest [Riena Strait] Witch Hunt.

You need to head to Ice Station 1. Speak to Helmsan Tanya to return to your boat and head to the portal at the top of the map. Speak to Pushki to complete the quest.

Talk to Pushki to start the quest [Riena Strait] Breaking the Fossil Record 1.

Here you will need to defeat 50 Ammonite Grumpil monsters. They can be found on the first map right of Ice Station 1 called Fossil Foundry 1.

Once complete speak to Pushki to start the quest [Riena Strait] Breaking the Fossil Record 2.

Here you will need to defeat 50 Fish Grumpil. These can be found in the map Fossil Foundry 3 (3 maps to the right of Ice Station 1.)

Once completed speak to Pushki to start the quest [Riena Strait] Nerd Rescue.

Head back to your ship and sail to a new portal at the top left of the map. Here you'll have to defeat several mobs; speak to Nora the Explorer once complete.

You'll then be teleported back to Ice Station 1 where you can speak to Pushki to complete the quest.

Speak to Pushki to start the quest Back to Base 1.

Head back to the Glacial Observatory and speak to Putan to complete the quest and to start the quest [Riena Strait] Alviola's Summon. Speak to Alviola to complete the quest.

Speak to Alviola to start the quest [Riena Strait] Ice Station 2 Dispatch.

This time take your boat to the middle platform and enter Ice Station 2 where you can speak to Alvesh to complete the quest.

Speak to Alvesh to start the quest [Riena Strait] Putrid Stench 1.

Here you need to defeat 50 Corrupter Barrels. You can find them in the map right of Ice Station 2 called Polluted Glacier 1.

Once completed speak to Alvesh and start the quest [Riena Strait] Putrid Stench 2.

Here you'll need to defeat 50 Polluter Barrel monsters, which can be found 3 maps to your right of Ice Station 2 called Polluted Glacier 3.

Once completed speak to Alvesh and start the quest [Riena Strait] Back to Base 2.

Head back to the Glacial Observatory and speak to Putan to complete the quest and to start the quest [Riena Strait] Where's That Witch?

Head back on your boat and sail to the bottom right to find Barbara's House and speak to Frostwitch Barbara to complete the quest.

Speak to Frostwitch Barbara to start the quest [Riena Strait] The Heart Of a Witch.

Speak to Frostwitch Barbara again to start the quest [Riena Strait] How About a Fish-Witch?

Head back on your boat and sail just above Barbara's House to find a dark patch in the water. Open your Inventory and use the item Barbara's Fishing Kit whilst in the dark patch of water.

You will then be able to fish! You need to find 5 Riena Whopper fish.

Once completed, head back to Frostwitch Barbara to complete the quest.

Speak to Frostwitch Barbara to start the quest [Riena Strait] Back To Base 3.

Head back to the Glacial Observatory and speak to Putan to complete the quest and to start the quest [Riena Strait] Seal Suspicions. Speak to Dachi to complete the quest and start the quest [Riena Strait] Ice Station 3 Dispatch.

Head back on your boat and sail to the middle of the map at the top to reach Ice Station 3. Speak to Dabo to complete the quest.

Speak to Dabo to start the quest [Riena Strait] The Seal Of Evil.

Here you need to defeat 25 Possibly-Evil Seal on the first map to the right of Ice Station 3. Head back to Dabo to complete the quest.

Speak to Dabo to start the quest [Riena Strait] Seal Clubbing.

Here you need to defeat 100 Possibly-Evil Seal on the first map to the right of Ice Station 3. Head back to Dabo to complete the quest.

Speak to Dabo to start the quest [Riena Strait] Seal Of Approal.

Here you need to collect 10 Garbled Command items. They drop from Possible-Evil Walrus at Underwater Ice Cave 3 (3 maps to the right of Ice Station 3).

Once completed speak to Dabo and start the quest [Riena Strait] Back To Base 4.

Head back to the Glacial Observatory and speak to Putan to complete the quest.

Speak to Nora The Explorer at the Glacial Observatory to start the quest [Riena Strait] Glacial Pace.

Head back on your boat and sail to the top right map called Glacier Cutter Base to complete the quest.

Speak to Nora the Explorer there and start the quest [Riena Strait] Saving The Glacier 1.

Here you need to defeat 100 Warmer Bot in the map Glacier Melting Camp, which is one map to your right.

Once completed head back to Nora the Explorer and start the quest [Riena Strait] Saving The Glacier 2.

Here you need to collect 30 Glacier Core Fragment which drop from the monster Shaver Bot in Glacial Debris (2 maps from Glacier Cutter Base).

Once completed head back to Nora the Explorer and start the quest [Riena Strait] Saving The Glacier 3.

Now you need to go to Glacial Debris map and enter the portal in the middle of the map to face the boss Demolishizer.

Once you defeat the boss, head back to Nora The Explorer and start the quest [Riena Strait] Back To Base 5.

Head back to the Glacial Observatory and speak to Putan to complete the quest.

Speak to Putan to start the quest [Riena Strait] A Warrior's Pride. You'll then watch several cutscenes that you can skip.

Speak to Putan to complete the quest and you'll be rewarded with the following:

• Sailor Mask (Face Accessory)
• Sailor Belt (Belt)
• Spell Trace x200
• 1,000,000 Mesos

Speak to Lilin at the Glacial Observatory to start the quest [Riena Strait] Title - Deckhand and be rewarded with the medal Deckhand.

Deckhand Stats:

• STR: +3
• DEX: +3
• LUK: +3
• INT: +3
• MAXHP: +150
• MAXMP: +150
• Defense: +15

All Theme Dungeon Medals have the same stats under level 59.
