A new MapleStory Collaboration Event featuring the manga series Frieren has begun in MapleStory for patch V.271! This limited-time event features custom Frieren NX gear, new Permanent Totem rewards and an easy set of events that you can participate in.
The event is available from September 9th 2026 to October 7th 2026.
Frieren's Spell Collection
The new event is built around Frieren's Spell Collection.
Each day you need to defeat 1,000 monsters near your level and it can be completed up to five times per week. Each time you complete this task, you can click the Complete button to gain a reward.
For your reward, you can choose either Adventure Coins or a specific item. Adventure coins are spent in the Magic Coin Shop.
If you complete all the rewards, you'll get the Maple x Frieren Medal Coupon!
The Collection Reward is based on the table below:

You can also complete Grimoire Missions that appear when you complete various Adventures.
Complete all the missions for the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Background Coupon.

The Magic Wardrobe
The Magic Wardrobe item that is rewarded for completing the first Grimoire Mission, has the ability to give you a random wearable item.
Each time you use the Magic Wardrobe, it costs a Magic Cloth, which drops from enemies within range. You can use up to 20 per day.

Four boss missions are also being made available for this event. You have to defeat the boss solo in order to claim the reward and you can also use Practice Mode.

Adventure with Frieren’s Companions
When you accept the quest Adventure with Frieren's Companions you'll be given four new skills in your Beginner Tab.
When you go to hunt monsters near your level, you will see a new UI which has a new gauge. You can fill the Gauge up to 20 times per day.
When you defeat 500 monsters near your level to fully charge it, you can charge your new AOE Zoltraak skills and also spawn a Magic Replica Monster (which takes on the form of your character!).
For every 2 Magic Replica Monster you defeat, you'll gain a Sol Erda Fragment.
Magic Replica Monsters can also drop:
- Adventure Coin x1 Coupon (x35)
- Random Mimic Box (x3)
- Symbol Selector Coupon (x1-2)
- Special Medal of Honor (x1-2)
- Spell Trace x30 Coupon (x1-3)
Companions Cheer
When you fill up your Companion Gauge by defeating monsters near your level, you also get a special cheer that will increase the Burning Field level by one.
- Stark's Cheer (defeat 250 monsters)
- Fern's Cheer (defeat 4,750 monsters)
- Frieren's Cheer (defeat 9,750 monsters)
