This next part of our Alabaster Dawn Walkthrough sees us start Chapter Two of the game: Freeing Sundalan.
After completing the Hall Of Trials, we now press on to getting rid of the Nyx Spire in Sundalan.

From the top of Remis Rock, you'll want to make your way south until you come a Waysprout at Aurum Plains - Hidden Steep.
From there, head east across a broken stone bridge and you'll come across some moving grass.
Use your Aether Aspect sword to cut it down, and head north to fight some Nuemera.
Once dispatched, head north to the next map.
Here you'll find a Nyx Rot protected by the grass; use your Aether Chakram to slice through it and destroy the Nyx Rot.
This will lower the barrier, but also activate some fire walls. You'll have to move across them when they go out. Press the Nyx Rot in the ground to allow Filia to go through.
Keep heading north, defeat the Nuemera on the cliff and pass through the fire until you come to a ball on the left of the map. Hit it so that the platforms catch the ball twice (use your ranged weapon) and then catch it using your Chakram so you can aim it into the Vein. This will extinguish the fire wall up ahead.
Jump across the river and place Filia in the portal. Hit the switch so that the two platforms appear. Then hit the ball into the first platform and then again to the middle top platform.
Next head up the map and hit the second switch using your ranged weapon. Now hit the ball across to the other side of the map until it rests on the platform. Then use your Chakram to catch the ball before firing it into the Vein.
Defeat the Nuemera in the area above and then cross the water to the east until you get to the next map.
Up ahead, you'll find more walls of fire. Use your crossbow to explode the rocks, then move through the fire, cutting down the grass with your Aether sword, before smashing the shiny rocks with your hammer. Press the Nyx Rot button on the right to allow Filia through.
Cut your way through the grass and you'll come to a Pond. Defeat the Nuemera around it, and keep heading east until you come across a new monster beast.
This monster has a weak spot on it's back where you'll deal normal damage.
Head north and place Filia in the portal. Hit the first switch with your Crossbow to extinguish the flames and pass through. Then hit the second one and pass through. Then hit the switch on the ground and run all the way round until you can destroy the Nyx Rot button on the floor, allowing Filia to pass.
Head west, defeating some Nuemera on the way until you reach Aurum Plains - Sol Gate Bridge.
After a short cutscene on the broken bridge; you can jump off it to the south-west. Make your way across the river, taking out several groups of Nuemera.
Keep heading west until you come to the next map.
Here, place Filia in the portal and hit the switch. You'll notice a moving platform; you then need to hit the Aether Charge Podium to destroy all the force-fields blocking your way. They do respawn, so best to destroy them in order.
Finall hit the Nyx Rot button on the floor to allow Filia to pass.
Defeat the mobs up ahead and keep heading north to the next map.
In the next area, you'll come across more mobs; once defeated head east across the low-lying platforms, cutting through the grass with your Aether sword.
You'll meet more mobs here; once taken out head north through the barrier that was just lifted.
Here you'll come across a boss- it will continually attack you. Use your Ranged crossbow whilst dodging it's projectiles. It'll fly off when you deal about 5% damage.
Head north across the broken bridge to the next map.
In the next area, run through the firewalls on the left, timing your movement so you don't get hit. Hit the Nyx Rot switch to allow Filia through.
Head west and you'll come to more firewalls blocking your path. Hit the first Nyx Rot on the right, walk through the fire walls and then use your Ranged Weapon on Nyx Rot on the clifftop. Walk through the fire and then hit the Nyx Rot switch on the floor to allow Filia through.
In the next area, you'll need to fire a projectile into the empty podium. Run through the fire (with your projectile still in the podium). Then switch Aspects and hit the Nyx Rot switch to the south.
Run through the firewall, then aim your Projectile into the Nyx Rot to lower the firewall; hit the Nyx Rot switch to then allow Filia through.
Keep heading West; you'll come across a new Waysprout. Heal up and prepare for the next boss...
Boss Fight - Grandis Molis
The fight begins with four Nuemera being summoned. You've faced this before, so take your time taking them out.
Once defeated, the first phase of the Grandis Molis fight begins.
The tricky attack to watch out for is it dives underground and then swipes you up from it's position. You can guard against it, but I don't think you can stun it, so you're better off just dodging it. Once you do dodge it, that's when you'll want to hit it with a flurry of attacks. Don't forget to use your Divine Art skills!
Grandis Molis will also shoot out a spinning projectile that will come back at you, so be careful dodging it.
After a few round of this, Grandis Molis protects itself with a barrier. You'll need to switch to your Aether sword to cut down the grass and then attack the boss, otherwise you'll get bombarded by Artilary attacks.
The second phase begins with a new move; Ultra Spin. Grandis Molis will surround itself with both rocks and grass; so you need to switch between weapons quickly to attack the boss. If you deal enough damage, you'll weaken the attack.
Ultra Spin will shoot out projectiles all around you whilst Grandis Molis dives underground and attempts to Ground Burst you. You're just going to have to keep dodging as much as possible.
In the second phase, Grandis Molias swipe attack now hits three times. His spinning-projectile also now comes with several projectiles that rain down from above. You'll also have to deal with the Ground Burst move.
Keep plugging away; in the third phase, Ultra Spin now gets another layer of barrier, so practise swapping weapons to break through and attack him.
In the third phase, Grandis Molis will spam his Ground Burst twice, and also add an extra dive to it's swipe attack.
After the fight, Juno destroys the Nyx Spire!
