In the latest Lorcana Lorecast stream, set 6 for Lorcana TCG has been announced and it's called Azurite Sea! The set will feature brand new cards from franchises like Big Hero 6 and Rescue Rangers.
Azurite Sea is the 6th set in the Lorcana TCG and will bring over 204 brand new cards to the set. Following the releases of:
- Into The Inklands (Set 3)
- Ursula's Return (Set 4)
- Shimmering Skies (Set 5)

The set will introduce cards from two new franchises:
- Big Hero 6 (2014)
- Rescue Rangers (1989)
What is the Lorcana TCG Azurite Sea Release Date?
Azurite Sea will officially release in local card stores on November 15th 2024 and then be available at retail stores on November 25th 2024.
This follows Lorcana's trend of giving local hobby stores a week of "early release" to encourage fans to support their local stores.
Azurite Sea Product Preview
Azurite Sea Booster Box
The Azurite Sea Booster Box contains 24 Booster Packs for you to open and is the best cost-per-booster product to open for those wanting to start their new Azurite Sea collection.
We also got the reveal of the three Booster Pack artwork sleeves: YZMA, Stitch, Baymax.
Azurite Sea Illumineer's Trove
The Illumineer Trove is the perfect treasure trove for storing your cards in and it includes 8 Booster Packs.
Each trove contains the following items:
- 8x Azurite Sea Booster Packs
- 6x Game Dice
- 6 Dividers
- Lore Counter
Azurite Sea Starter Decks
The two starter decks for Azurite Sea are themed around Sapphire and Emerald Inks, and also Amber and Ruby Ink Decks.
Each deck comes with a pre-build deck of cards for you to get started with playing Lorcana. They also include one extra Booster Pack, some cardboard lore counters and a rule book.
Stitch Collector's Gift Set
The gift set for Azurite Sea has been changed slightly for this release. This gift set is themed around Stitch and is called the Stitch Collector's Gift Set.
It contains 4 Booster Packs of Azurite Sea, along with a Stitch-themed binder for storing your cards.
You'll also get access to an exclusive Stitch promo card that will only be available from the gift set (the above version is from Set 6, but the promo card will have a special promo symbol).
Azurite Sea Accessories
Whilst we don't have the actual product preview images for these cards, we did get a sneak peak of them on the Lorecast Livestream!

Lorcana Competitive Updates
Lorcana Competitive circuit has been in full-swing this year and some new announcements were also made during the Lorecast.
- European Championship December 6th-8th 2024 will be held in Paris, France.
- North American Championship January 10-12th 2025, California, USA.
- World Championship 2025 - World Disney Resort.
Future Franchise Releases
As part of the D23 Convention, Lorcana also reiterated that the following franchises will be coming to Lorcana soon:
- Black Cauldron
- Pocahontas
- Pixar (2026)
Lorcana has had a busy year with 4 sets being released, along with the two promo D100 Gift Box and the D23 Collection Box sets all being released.
