The second set of Disney Lorcana TCG has been announced and it's called Rise Of The Floodborn! Check out this preview guide of the second set and what products you can expect from the popular Lorcana TCG!
Lorcana just got done finishing up the release of The First Chapter set, which is now available in stores worldwide. If you missed it, check out The First Chapter Card List to see all the cards released so far.
The second set titled Rise Of The Floodborn is set to feature over 200 brand new cards.
The release date for the second set is November 17th at local game stores, with December 1st being the world-wide release.
Rise Of The Floodborn is set to feature cards from new Disney franchises, including:
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
- Pinocchio
- Zootopia
- The Great Mouse Detective
- The Jungle Book
- Raya and the Last Dragon
And of course, it will feature cards from franchises already available in The First Chapter.

Rise Of The Floodborn Card Previews
With the announcement of Disney's second set, we got to see some brand new cards being released!
We have been shown:
- The Queen (Commanding Presence) - Super Rare
- Belle (Hidden Archer) - Legendary
- Gaston (Intellectual Powerhouse) - Rare
- Winnie The Pooh (Hunny Wizard) - Common
- Tiana (Celebrating Princess) - Super Rare
- Cinderella (Stouthearted) - Super Rare
These cards will belong to at least 200 more being released for Rise Of The Floodborn.
We also know new mechanics are being introduced, specifically the Resist keyword:
The Resist keyword indicates how much additional damage characters may be able to withstand. For example, Resist + 2 on a character would mean any damage dealt to them is reduced by 2.

Rise Of The Floodborn Products
With a brand new set release, that means brand new Disney Lorcana Products!
Rise Of The Floodborn is a main set entry, and will come with Booster Boxes, Starter Decks and more!
The Rise Of The Floodborn Booster Box will contain 24 Booster packs. Each Booster pack contains 12 cards, with the same Lorcana Rarity as the first set:
- 6 Commons
- 3 Uncommons
- 2 Rare, Super-Rare or Legendary
- 1 Foil of any rarity or an Enchanted card
The Booster pack artwork features these characters:
- Raya (The Last Dragon)
- Queen Of Hearts (alice and Wonderland)
- The Beast (Beauty and The Beast)
We are also getting a Rise Of The Floodborn Illumineer's Trove! A trove contains everything you need to get started playing Lorcana TCG, including:
- 1 storage box
- 2 deck boxes
- 8 Rise Of The Floodborn booster packs
- 15 game tokens
- 1 player's guide
Two new Disney Lorcana Starter Decks have also been revealed. Each deck consists of 60 cards pre-built to get you ready to dive into the Lorcana TCG.
The two decks feature Amber/Sapphire inks or Amethyst/Steel inks.
New playmats and accessories have also been revealed featuring Winnine The Pooh and The Beast!
