Fortnite Best Loadout for Chapter 7 Treasure Hunters

November 4, 2026

Fortnite Chapter 7 Treasure Hunters is a huge season revamp with a brand new map and lots of new weapons added to the loot pool, so we've got you covered on what the best loadout is when it comes to getting those Victory Royales.

If you haven't yet seen, take a look at the brand new Fortnite Treasure Hunters Map and Loot Table to see what the new season has uncovered.

As ever with these Best Loadout Guides, items in Fortnite drop randomly so there is no guarantee you can get the best weapons in the game each map. So we've added several alternative items to the loadout that we think will give you the edge in-game.

Best Fortnite Treasure Hunters Loadout

This season introduces new Devil Fruit items that can spawn randomly on the map during a Fortnite Battle Royale game. These items take up one slot in your Loadout, but offer powerful abilities that make them worth hunting down.

That being said, they are quite challenging to get because every other Fortnite player wants to get their hands on them, so we've added two ideal loadouts: with and without Devil Fruits. Let's dive in!

Auto-Shotgun Tactical Submachine gun Hammer Assault Rifle Usopp's Slingshot Chug Jug

  • Auto Shotgun (Max Rarity: Legendary)
  • Tactical Submachine Gun (Max Rarity: Legendary)
  • Hammer Assault Rifle (Max Rarity: Legendary)
  • Usopp’s Slingshot (Max Rarity: Mythic)
  • Chug Jug

Shotgun

Auto-Shotgun

There are three Shotguns in Treasure Hunters (Gilded Dragoon Shotgun and Sentinel Pump Shotgun are the other two) and we've found the Auto Shotgun to be the best one for your loadout.

The Auto Shotgun has a quick rate of fire, has up to 8 rounds before reloading and hits very hard at Epic and Legendary tiers.

The Gilden Dragoon Shotgun is a one-shot deadly hit, but if you miss you're going to be stuck reloading for an age. The Sentinel Pump Shotgun also only has 3 shots and takes a long time to take shots.

Zoros Three Sword Style

Ideally, if you can't find a decent rarity Auto Shotgun, you'll want to switch to Zoro’s Three Sword Style as it causes absolute chaos one v one.

SMG

Tactical Submachine gun

After trying out both SMGs, we still prefer the tried and tested Tactical Submachine Gun. It shreds enemies up close, giving players no time to react if you jump out at them with this gun.

Consider also the new Bundlebuss Repeater Rifle instead of the SMG as it has a powerful rate of fire (but very inaccurate at long-distance).

Assault Rifle

Hammer Assault Rifle

The Hammer Assault Rifle is the only reliable assault rifle in the game, especially for picking off players in the air or at long-range. You wouldn't want to use this weapon up close though, as it has a low-rate of fire compared to Bundlebuss Repeater Rifle and the SMG.

Should you take the Bundlebuss Repeater Rifle over the Hammer Assault Rifle? It's up to you- if you're a player who gets up close and personal, the Bundlebuss Repeater Rifle is better.

Sniper

Usopp's Slingshot

Our favourite weapon of the entire new loot table is the Usopp’s Slingshot.

This weapon has amazing range, super-fast reloading and can hit over 150+ damage with a headshot. We recommend always having this weapon in your loadout if you want to claim those Victory Royales, especially Zero Build.

It also has a Mythic rarity, which we've gotten once from a Rare Chest inside a Vault.

Healing

Chug Jub

The Chug-Jug is always one of the best healing items in Fortnite, especially because you don't have to consume the whole thing to heal yourself like in OG Fortnite.

Other than Chug-Jug, the new Nami’s Tangerine heal +25 Shield and can be stacked up to 6 times and are consumed super fast compared to a Shield Potion.

Best Devil Fruit

Gum Gum Fruit

There are currently two different Devil Fruit items that can spawn throughout a Fortnite Battle Royale Match.

Once they have spawned, you'll get a notification of where they are and are marked on the map. When you consume one, you'll transform into a new character skin from One Piece and gain the Devil Fruit's item in your Inventory.

That means they do take up a Loadout Slot; you'll probably want to drop either your Shotgun or SMG, as both Devil Fruits offer up-close attacks.

Gum-Gum Fruit

You gain the following abilities when consuming this Devil Fruit:

  • Attack (Hold To Charge)
  • Gum-Gum Rocket (Hold To Charge)

Flame-Flame Fruit

You gain the follow abilities when consuming this Devil Fruit:

  • Fire Gun
  • Fire Fist

Best Sprite for Treasure Hunters

The Treasure Hunter Sprites this season are not nearly as overpowered as the ones from Chapter 7 Season 4.

This makes choosing the Best Sprite for your loadout completely up to you.

Of the ones we've used so far, we've found the Transponder Snail Sprite helps with getting plenty of early-game resources.

We also use Halfpeel'd to hunt down players as eliminations get marked on the map, so great for racking up high-kill games. Re-Pete is also decent with a boost to Reload Speed and free ammo.
