Fortnite Sprites are little creatures you can find throughout Fortnite Battle Royale, giving you various bonuses when you have them equipped. Each Sprite can also be levelled up and many are hidden throughout the Fortnite World Map.

This guide will give you an overview of all the Fortnite Sprites currently in the game, updated for the latest Fortnite Season: Chapter 7 Season 4.

What are Fortnite Sprites?

Fortnite Sprites were introduced to the Battle Royale game mode in version Chapter 7 Season 3: Runners. They have now also been added to Chapter 7 Season 4, with a brand new collection for everyone to collect.

A Fortnite Sprite can be equipped before you enter a Fortnite Lobby. Each Fortnite Sprite gives a special ability, such as healing you when you take damage, temporary invisibility and also double-jump movement.

Each Fortnite Sprite can drop from a variety of different sources in the Fortnite world map; whether from bosses, rare Treasure Chests or other secrets found on the map.

Once you obtain a Fortnite Sprite, the bonus is then applied to your current game. If you want to use it in the next game, you must then extract it. 

All of your Extracted Fortnite Sprites will be available in the Lobby menu; if you die in game with a Sprite, you can re-purchase it with Sprite Dust as long as it has been extracted from the game.

How to Extract Fortnite Sprites?

When you obtain a Fortnite Sprite, you will be able to obtain it permanently in your Sprite Inventory by extracting it.

To extract a Fortnite Sprite, you must head to one of the many Extraction Sites located throughout the Fortnite World Map. For Chapter 7 Season 4, we've highlighted the extraction sites.

When you find an Extraction Site, interact with the console and press Extract Sprite. A giant crate will then be summoned, and you must wait around 30 seconds for it to arrive.

Once the crate lands, you can interact with it and deposit the Fortnite Sprite you wish to extract. You can only extract a Fortnite Sprite that you have currently equipped or in your Inventory.

It only takes a few seconds for the extracted Sprite to then be successfully extracted from the game. 

You can extract multiple Sprites at a time.

Be aware, however, that summoning an Extraction Crate will alert all nearby players!

You'll also gain +550 Sprite Dust per Sprite you extract. You can spend Sprite Dust on many things, including reviving lost Sprites.

How To Level Up Fortnite Sprites?

Each Fortnite Sprite can also be levelled up to improve their bonuses. They have a max level of 5 and gain the "Mastered" tag.

You can level up Sprites by:

• Exploring (opening Treasure Chests)
• Eliminations
• Extractions

Only the equipped Sprite gains Level Up bonuses when you Eliminate an opponent or open Treasure Chests.

Mastered Sprites can also be added to a special Back Bling item called the Pixel Sprite Trainer. The Sprite you select will appear inside the back bling- cool!

Chapter 7 Season 4 Sprites and Bonuses

Below you can find all current sprites available for Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, including the bonuses they give when you drop in game.

Some Sprites have Special Abilities added to them, on top of their regular abilities. The special abilities are:

• Gold: Gain 3x bonus XP from eliminations
• Loot Hacker: Increases chances of spawning items from your Loot Hacks.
• Cheatmaster: Button mash! All inputs are correct when entering cheat codes found in the world.
• Bounty Hunter: Chance to find sprites when eliminating opponents. Only gains sprite XP from eliminations, unless sprite has special XP rules.
• Trick Or Treat: Chance to find candy when opening containers

Each Sprite can be obtained from entering Cheat Codes, Treasure Chests and other rare instances.

Note: You can also obtain any Sprite by eliminating other players. They will drop the Sprite they currently have equipped.

How To Find Trick Or Treat Sprites

With the new Fortnitemares 2026 update, a new version of Sprites was added: Trick Or Treat!

You can find them from regular Sprite-Finding Methods such as Cheat Codes, Eliminating Players or Treasure Chests.

However, you can also find them from the new Pumpkin Chests scattered all over the map. These have a higher drop-rate for the new Trick Or Treat Sprites.

Sprite Garden

The Sprite Garden is a chill-out area where you can display all of the Sprites you have managed to obtain in Fortnite.

It's worth loading in as you get some free XP each time you deposit a Sprite and follow the Questline.
