Fortnitemares has arrived in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 with a brand new event for all players to participate in! Fortnitemares includes brand new locations, a set of new weapons and a new quest line with free cosmetic items to unlock!
This guide will give you an overview of all the new additions added for Fortnitemares 2026 Event!
As well as new locations, there is also a new FREE SKIN available called the Jack-A-Nape.
Fortnitemares 2026 New Locations
The World Map of Fortnite has been updated with 2 new locations for Fortnitemares 2026.
The areas are Nightmare Neighborhood and Freaky Fields. They have replaced the old The Battlewoods and Latte Landing to the north of the map.

Nightmare Neighborhood
Nightmare Neighborhood is home to the new boss Freddy Krueger. Check the mini-map when you drop on this POI to see where he's spawned; he'll be wandering the streets outside.
But be warned- this place is a hot-spot for Fortnite Players so you're going to face some competition.
Freddy Krueger can teleport directly to you and slash you with his new weapon Freddy's Nightmare.
Defeating Freddy Krueger will drop the following:
- Freddy's Nightmare
- Slap Candy Corn
- 1-UP Token
Freaky Fields
Freaky Fields has a Giant Pumpkin situated at the back of the map. On top of it will be a rare Treasure Chest that contains a Legendary/Mythic Pumpkin Launcher. Behind it is a Slurp Truck so you can get a full-heal at the start of the round if you drop uncontested.
This new area has no new bosses added, but it is full of Treasure Chests. Don't forget to check the straw fields for hidden chests.
It's also home to Vending Machines and an NPC that you can purchase a Rift from.
Fortnitemares Loot Table Update
This new update also brings changes to the loot table.
Two brand new weapons have been added: Bonerattler SMG and Freddy's Nightmare.
Bonerattler SMG
This SMG is great for close-combat fights and has the ability to see through walls! Just aim down the sights of this weapon and you'll be able to see through all terrain, including houses, bushes and rocks.
It has a Mythic version also!
Freddy's Nightmare
This Legendary weapon drops from the new Freddy Krueger boss and has two abilities; teleport to players in range when activating Nightmare Mode and also a Slash attack that can knock-back players.

Remember, you can add Loot Hack items to the Loot Table by unlocking them with Sprite Dust.
Fortnitemares 2026 Quests
Some new limited-time event quests have been added for Fortnitemares 2026. You will need to complete a total of 28 Quests from the Fortnitemares section to unlock the FREE SKIN Jack-A-Nape.
