Damage opponents from 30 or more meters with the revolver

Revolver Fortnite

This one can be done quite easily. Revolvers are not rare finds, so you can find them as loose loot or in a chest in any location. As for actually completing the quest, we recommend you hold a concealed position and open fire on opponents from a distance.

We also recommend you do this early game in a location like Tilted Towers, because late game it can prove difficult to defeat opponents with a weapon like this.

Deal damage to opponents at Synapse Station or The Daily Bugle

Synapse Station

Again, the best way to do this is to drop at either of Synapse Station or The Daily Bugle places early game and then work your way inward to the other. Early game, many people will be heading to either of these places, so we recommend finding a good spot and waiting for someone to pass by.

If you catch them by surprise, it’ll make completing this challenge much easier.

Emote within 10 meters of a character

Emote Fortnite

This one can prove tricky, especially as it can make you an easy target. You can complete this quest easily, however, if you do it during a build battle or catch your enemy by surprise. Though it may mean losing your life, you will probably complete the quest.

A way to “cheese” this quest and complete it easily is also present, however - simply drop at the end with the usual few AFK’s, and emote around them to complete the challenge.

Gain shields by consuming foragables

Consumable Fortnite Shrroms

For this one, simply head to many of the locations on the map where you can find shield mushrooms (especially wooded and forest areas), and use them. You’ll need to consume enough to get half-shields for this one, so make sure you don’t get stuck in the storm!

Mod a vehicle with the cow catcher

Battle Bus

For this one, first you’ll need to locate a Cow Catcher. These can be found in some of the many toolboxes scattered across the map, and we recommend searching Catty Corner and the garage there.

After this, simply throw the cow catcher at a vehicle, which will then modify the vehicle to include it.

Search chests and ammo boxes at IO Outposts

IO Outposts

We’ve marked the IO outposts above for your convenience. Once you locate them, you can drop to them instantaneously or work your way there later on.

Upon reaching the location, simply search for loot in chests and ammo boxes, and you should have this one completed in no time.

Use an ascender at Chonker’s Speedway and Command Cavern

Ascender

First, head to either of these locations, and locate one of the many ascenders found to get to the elevated positions they are at. You can choose to drop at either one, then work your way inward.

Then, simply interact with them and reach the top for good measure, and you should have this challenge completed.

In summary, Week 3 has posed some interesting challenges, and some that definitely encourage exploration of the map.
