The next set for Disney Lorcana has been announced as Shimmering Skies! This is the 5th set released for the popular TCG series and we've got a preview of all products and cards released so far!

Shimmering Skies is set to introduce some brand new franchises as well at least another 204 cards for fans to collect. The previous set Ursula's Return (set 4) is out now!

What is the Shimmering Skies Release Date?
Shimmering Skies is set to be released in hobby stores on August 9th 2024.
It will then be released in major retail stores on August 23rd 2024.
Lorcana tends to give local hobby stores a couple of weeks of exclusive release to help push the game to fans who are playing the TCG.
Shimmering Skies Product Previews
Shimmering Skies follows in the footsteps of previous sets with releasing similar product lineups: Booster Boxes, Illumineer Troves and Starter Decks.
We've not heard anything about a Gift Set this time round, but we are getting a new player product called Lorcana Gateway.
Shimmering Skies Booster Box
Each Shimmer Skies Booster Box contains 24 Booster Packs each. A case of Booster Boxes consists of 4 Booster Boxes.
There are three different Booster Pack wraps consisting of: Donald Duck, Vanellope Von Schweetz and Maui.
Shimmering Skies Illumineer's Trove
The Illumineer's Trove contain 8 Booster Packs of Shimmering Skies, along with a host of items to help you play the Lorcana Game. They include Damage Counter Dice, Lore Counter and Card Dividers.
The Illumineer's Trove boxes also make for great storage of your cards!
Shimmering Skies Starter Decks
There will be two Starter Decks for Shimmering Skies release.
They will contain the two inks in each set, helping you play the Lorcana TCG with pre-built decks. Each Starter Deck also comes with one Booster Pack of Shimmering Skies.
The two starter decks are include a Amethyst and Ruby deck and also a Emerald and Steel Deck. Check out our Lorcana Deck Builder to start crafting your own decks.
Shimmering Skies Card Previews
Whilst the card list for Shimmering Skies is not yet released, we have been treated to some previews of Shimmering Skies!
Right off the bat we get a preview of two brand new Legendary cards featuring Donald Duck and Merlin. We also get a look at Vanellope Von Schweetz from the Wreck-It-Ralph, which is making it's debut in Shimmering Skies!
