Pokemon TCG Scarlet and Violet has finally dropped and with it comes new Pull Rates that are quite different from previous sets due to new Booster Pack rates!
Scarlet and Violet features new Booster Packs containing at least one guaranteed rare holo card! You'll get at least 3 Holofoil cards (2 Reverse, 1 Rare minimum) and there is potential for getting 2 Rare+ cards.
Scarlet and Violet also introduces a new rarity system, which is more visibly noticeable on the card. It still contains your favorite alternative art cards, but separates the cards by a new rarity star system.

- 2 White Stars - Ultra Rare
- 1 Gold Star - Alternative Art Pokemon
- 2 Gold Star - Alternative Art EX Pokemon & Trainer
- 3 Gold Star - Hyper Rare (Gold cards)

Pokemon TCG Scarlet and Violet Card List comes with 258 different cards, with 60 of those being Alternative Art Rarity or above! This is a very exciting set to open with so many amazing pulls to rip.
Scarlet & Violet Booster Pack Contents
Scarlet & Violet have changed up the Booster Pack pulls from the previous series and now guarantee at least one Rare Holo+ card. All Rares are holographic.
You now are guaranteed 3 holofoil cards, with 2 reverse cards and 1 rare being the minimum.
The Booster pack breakdown is:
- 1 Energy Card
- 4 Common Cards
- 3 Uncommon Cards
- 1 Reverse Holo or 1 Reverse Rare Holo
- 1 Reverse or higher
- 1 Rare or higher
- 1 online code card
A rare card will either be holographic or reverse holographic. Cards higher than Rare do not have a reverse holographic.
Pokemon doesn't release the chance of pulling certain cards from their Booster Packs. So, by compiling the hundreds and hundreds of packs opened, we can get a good idea of what those rates might actually be.
