To celebrate 30 years of Pokemon, a brand new special set is being released called Pokemon TCG: 30th Celebration. The set has a release date of September 16th, 2026 and is going to be one of the most anticipated TCG sets of the year.
In the build up to release, plenty of 30th Celebration cards and products have been announced, so this guide will go through everything we know so far.
The set is likely to be in very high-demand, so if you're looking to get your hands on 30th Celebration Products, you'll want to get your pre-orders in early.
The 30th Celebration Set is similar to the 25th Anniversary Set called Celebrations, which included several cards from previous TCG sets.
30th Celebration Preview
Every 5 years, Pokemon release a special TCG set to celebrate their anniversary. To celebrate 30 years, the 30th Celebration set is being released as a special set.
Special sets for Pokemon TCG contain a variety of different products and within them are the 30th Celebration Booster Packs.
Each 30th Celebration Booster Pack contains 5 foil cards, 1 foil energy card and 1 code card to use on Pokemon TCG: Live.
Familiar products are returning, including a 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box, Booster Bundle and Blister Packs.
The Card List for 30th Celebration is set to include a base of 128 cards, with additional secret rare cards to also be discovered. There are also lots of Promo Cards to pick up from the various 30th Celebration Products.
The card list also includes 30 different unique Pikachu cards, with one guaranteed in each 30th Anniversary Booster Pack.
There is also going to be a sub-set of Classic Collection cards, with a total of 30 cards that are returning cards from previous sets. This includes the famous Base Set Charizard holographic card.
Each card comes with a special 30 Pikachu Stamp (like Pokemon Celebration Cards).
In the special Ultra Premium Collection sets, you can get your hands on a special 3-card Booster Pack called 30th Celebration Classic Collection booster pack. These packs guarantee 3 cards from the Classic Collection.
The set also introduces a brand new Futuristic Rarity, which includes both Legendary Pokemon Mewtwo and Mew.
30th Celebration Product Lineup
There are lots of different products being released for the 30th Celebration set, each one will come with a number of booster packs.
Elite Trainer Box
The 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box comes with 9 booster packs, 1 full-art promo featuring Nidorina, 65 card sleeves, 16 foil Basic Energy cards, damage-counter dice, a coin-flip die, a plastic coin, and a sturdy box with six dividers.
You can also get a special Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box, which contains 11 booster packs and 2x full-art promo cards featuring Nidorina, one with the special Pokemon Center logo.
Booster Bundle
If you just want to collect booster packs, the Booster Bundle is your best option. It contains a total of 6 Booster Packs.
Tech Sticker Packs
These packs contain 3 booster packs, a promo card depending on which version you buy, plus a tech-sticker sheet.
Blister Packs
The blister pack product contains 2 Booster Packs and 1 promo card featuring Eevee promo card. It also comes with a plastic coin for playing the TCG.
Knockout Collection
Similar to the Blister Pack, this product contains 2 Booster Packs, Eevee Promo card and a plastic coin.
Poster Collection
The Poster Collection features the 3 Legendary Bird Pokemon (Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres) as promo cards. It also comes with 3 Booster Packs and a poster containing over 160 cards from the 30th Anniversary Collection.
eX Box Collection
Two variations of the ex Box Collection will be available, featuring either Sylveon ex or Greninja ex promo cards. Each ex Box comes with 4 Booster Packs.
Binder Collection
If you're looking for a binder to store all your new 30th Celebration cards in, the Binder Collection includes a binder containing 9 pockets per page. It also comes with 5 Booster Packs
30th Celebration Mini Tins
There are 10 different Mini-Tins to collect. Each one contains 2 Booster Packs, a sticker sheet and 1 art card.
Battle Decks
Two different Battle Deck products are being released that contain 60-card decks inside. Each deck comes with a special promo cards featuring either Victini or Zeraora.
Ditto Premium Collection
The Ditto Premium Collection releases shortly after the official release date of 30th Celebration on November 6th. It includes a special Ditto promo card, an acrylic case to display your favourite Pokemon card and a total of 8 Booster Packs.
Ultra Premium Collection
There are two versions of the Ultra Premium Collection: Pikachu ex and Espeon ex or Pikachu ex and Umbreon ex.
This collection contains 29 Booster Packs and 1 special Classic Collection Booster Pack (contains 3 guaranteed Classic Collection cards).
You'll also get a playmat, card sleeves, deck box, and other accessories in this collection.
Figure Collection—Mew & Mewtwo
There are two figure collection products available featuring either Mew or Mewtwo. Each collection comes with a collectable figure, a foil promo card, an oversized card and 5 Booster Packs.
