You might be wondering if your Charizard is worth that? Well there are a few things you need to know.
The most valuable Charizard cards are:
- 1st Edition - recognized by it's first edition stamp on the front of the card
- PSA 10 - cards which have been graded for their quality are the most expensive.
- Shadowless Charizard - after the 1st edition print run came the Shadowless print run, which is the second-most sought after Charizard
Charizard from Base Set has been reprinted a number of times for other sets, either with new Holo patterns or special Stamps like in Pokemon TCG Celebrations.
There was also a Gold-Metal Charizard card included in the Celebrations Ultra Premium Collection.
