Airoheart - Mount Comito - Walkthrough - Part 8

In this part of the Airoheart Walkthrough we head to Mount Comito, the snowy mountain area in search of special book to help prevent the Draoidh Stone from being re-forged.

We got our Climbing Gear from Jep in the last walkthrough and now we can enter Mount Comito from the north of Loth'lena.

Mount Comito Walkthrough

Mount Comito is a puzzle dungeon just like the others, but it's split among many small dungeons.

Head to the right of Mount Comito and you'll come to your first wall-climbing section. When you reach the top you'll come across Telekremorr.

He tells you of a special book that sits at the top of the mountain and you need to retrieve it before your brother does to prevent him being able to forge the Draoidh Stone.

Head to your left and enter the mountain.

Inside the mountain, head to your left until you come across several moveable blocks surrounding a fire pit.

You will need to move the blocks in the following order. This will generate a pot in the middle containing a key. Head back to the beginning of the cave and use the new key to unlock the door near the top of the entrance.

You'll come to a room with slippery ice. Take out the mobs to unlock the door on the left.

In the next room you'll notice a Powder Keg in the corner. Use it to blow a hole at the bottom of the room and enter the next room.

Follow the path down and you'll exit the cave back out to the snow.

Make your way left and climb up the wall and re-enter the mountain.

Head to the top of the cave and use your Rune Of Kobold Tech to teleport across the gap.

You'll come to a room labeled F3 with several mobs and a ball and chain to dodge. Head to the bottom left and use your Rune Of Flight to pass through the grate.

In the next room you'll notice a Powder Keg in the corner and a time tile in the left top corner.

Collect the key from the pot on the right.

Next use your Crossbow to fire an arrow into the wall on the left. This will bring the barrier down on your right. Then you must go pick up a Powder Keg and then step on the time time.

Now make your way as fast as possible to your right, returning to the beginning of the dungeon and heading back to where you teleported across the gap. Carry your Powder Keg until you reach a wall with the explosive sign on- throw your keg at it to make a new entrance.

Before going to this new entrance, head north back to the room with the ball and chain and use your new key to unlock the door at the top-left.

Here you can find a Treasure Chest containing a Comitan Kite Shield!

Now go back to your newly formed hole in the wall and take the stairs down to F1.

Here you'll be immediately greeted by several tortoise and Powder Kegs. Take out the mobs and head to the door on your right. Follow the room north and you'll come to a narrow cave.

Head to your left entrance.

You'll come to a crossroads with several barriers up. Hit the time tile and then head south.

Defeat the mobs in this room and smash the pot on the right to reveal a switch.

Then use your Rune Of Creation to generate a tile to throw on the time tile in the center of the room.

Head back to the crossroads and this time use the north barrier.

Defeat the mobs in this room and create another tile to throw onto the time tile at the top of the room. Head back to the crossroads and this time take the left door.

Head up top on your left and you'll come to a room with lots of explosive holes and a Powder Keg. Lift the Powder Keg and take it to the bottom of the room and throw it to blow up a hole.

Now go back to this new hole and enter it.

You can now exit the cave again and return to the snowy mountainside.

Head up the side of the mountain and ignore the lower of the caves on your left and enter the one right at the top.

You'll come to a cave called F5. Take the right door.

Dodge past the metal blocks and keeping heading right. Take the right door and you'll come to a ice statue mob and moving metal block. Take the door on the north-right side.

You'll come to a statue in front of some barriers; use your Rune Of Creation to craft a block and throw it at the statue to bring the barriers down. Make your way north and then take the left exit after moving some blocks out of the way.

Here you'll come to a narrow cave with several turtles around. Head to the top-right hole and fall down it.

You will fall down directly near a golden Treasure Chest containing the Kobold Tech Key!

Head to your left and push past the block in the top-left corner and exit the room.

You'll find yourself back in the narrow cave; this time find the hole at the bottom-right corner and fall down it.

You'll fall back on the other side of the barrier (where you collected the Kobold Tech Key). Head south and down the stairs to find another hole and fall down it.

You'll arrive back at one of the older caves; take the exit immediately and climb the mountain again. You'll arrive back at F5 and this time take the north exit.

At the bottom left is a statue-mob; kill it and it will drop a key to open the door on your right. Follow the room to your right and then take the stairs, dodging a few explosion holes and then head south to find the exit of the cave.

Walk to the next cave entrance on your right and you'll come to a room with a turtle mob. Take the right door.

Keep following the room right; you can throw one of the Powder kegs at a wall to the north to find several pots of health items.

In the next room you'll find a statue behind two crates. Smash them out the way, then hit the statue so the barriers go down at the top of the room and you can use your Kobold Tech Key to unlock the door.

In the next room you'll have to fight two statue mobs; kill one of them for a key to unlock the door on your right.

In the next room you'll come to a prison area, where a blue npc is trapped. Head to the right of the room and you'll see a statue in one of the cells; use your Rune Of Creation to throw a block at it.

Head to the middle cell and use your Rune Of Flight to fall through the grate.

In the next room you can find a Key from a pot on the left; then use the Powder Keg to blow a hole in the wall on the left.

In this room you'll find a Treasure Chest containing a Comitan Blade!

Use your Rune Of Kobold Tech to teleport across the room. You'll return to the entrance of the Kobold Tech Key door; follow through it again and head to the prison where the blue npc is.

He will run off once you free him; inside his cell is a door that can be exploded open with one of the Powder Kegs that you can find at the right of the room.

Head through the newly formed door and you'll come to a room with most of the floor missing. Use your Rune Of Kobold Tech to teleport across the room.

You can then walk to the middle section and teleport further across. Keep using your Rune and eventually you'll make it across the room and find the exit of the cave.

You'll be back at the mountainside; head to your right to find another cave entrance. Head past two ball and chains and at the top-right is a door leading to the boss!

After the boss is downed, take the exit to the top-left. You'll be able to exit the cave to the mountain side again.

Head right past the Heart Melon and you'll come to another cave at the top-right.

Here you'll find your brother Xanatos, who ends up taking all your soul fragments!
