Defense Systems Down is a sidequest is Star Ocean: The Divine Force that you can pick up at Parrapoeiam.
If you head to just outside the Integration Plant, you can find Security Guard in Need Of A Fix.
He will tell you one of the Defense Systems has gone out of control inside the Integration Plant.
If you head to the room in which you fought Fused Bennett, you'll find a new boss has replaced him called Defense System.
The boss is quite easy if you pick up this quest towards end-game. Just target the boss's head.
Take it out and then return to Security Guard in Need Of A Fix for your reward.
