A Fix For Elena - Star Ocean: The Divine Force - Walkthrough - Part 4

In part 4 of the Star Ocean: The Divine Force Walkthrough we pick up TWO new characters for our party, whilst we try to convince Midas to help Albaird's depleted arm.

After arriving in the Village Of Eda, we walk to the top of the village whilst Midas gives us his thoughts on expecting the kingdom of Aucerius falls.

Head to Midas's house at the top of the village to continue the story.

Whilst in the Village Of Eda, you can pick up a new Sidequest: Meet Some Meat.

You can also pick up several new weapons for your party from the general store:

Oh, and if you're collecting Es'owa pieces, there's several low level challengers around you can battle too.

• Mindful Sister (apprentice) - Reward: Noel, 200 Fol
• Man Yearning For Color (beginner) - Reward: Yrian, 100 Fol
• Competitive Man (apprentice) - Reward: Millie, 200 Fol

Midas invites Raymond, Albaird and Nina into his home whilst he takes a look at Albaird's arm. This gives you a bit of free-roam in the village Of Eda.

Go and speak to one of the villagers further down and then return to Midas once you've done.

Unfortunately, Midas says that Albaird's arm cannot be fixed and he will lose it within the year. He offers him a substitute, but it means his role as a Knight will be over.

Meanwhile, Ray picks up a transmission from Elena; she is crash-landing nearby.

Galca Shrine

Treasure Chests:

Midas decides to join you on your journey, helping you reach the Galca Shrine where Elena has crashed. You'll want to take this time to spend Midas's SP points and boost his skills.

You can reach the Galca Shrine by heading back to the Edahil Region and taking the forked path.

You can find Elena's pod at the top of the Galca Shrine. After a short cutscene, it's established that Elena is broken and you need to get some old parts from Ray's pod that he crash-landed.

This pod is back in the Larcette Weald.

If you head back to it, you'll come across some hooded figures and a quick battle ensues.

After Ray acquires the parts to fix Elena, Laeticia, Albaird and Nina go off in search of finding out information on those hooded figures.

You'll need to go to the following areas in this order:

• Larcette Village and speak to Worried Elderly Woman
• Delryk Village and speak to Doctor Yzen at The Infirmary
• Seaport Of Rythal and speak to Rudderless Sailor

You can pick up a new sidequest called Luggage Larceny outside of Larcette Village by speaking to Scumbar-Loathing Old Woman. You'll also find a quest outside the Inn Of Larcette Village titled Native Pest Of The Forest.

After speaking with Rudderless Sailor at the Seaport Of Rythal, go to The Infirmary and speak to Doctor Vahnel. Looks like there is a disease spreading! Laeticia and Albaird decide to leave Doctor Vahnel and go speak with the townsfolk.

Go and find the Drunken Sailor, who will tell you of strange purple folk with horns. Head back to Doctor Vahnel's Infirmary where Nina is waiting for you.

You decide its now time to head back to Elena at the Galca Shrine. You cannot fast travel; instead you must past through the Del'vyr Region first...

After the fight, the strange man flees. You can now fast travel to the Galca Shrine.

When you get there, it appears Raymond has also had his own run-in with the purple-horned people. Ray falls asleep and is awoken by a 75% working Elena.

Elena joins your party!

If you've unlocked the Item Creation, Welch will contact you saying a new quest is available at this point.

You can now find several new Private Actions in Delryk Village by speaking to your party members there.
