Unknown Organisms is a sidequest is Star Ocean: The Divine Force that you can pick up at Parrapoeiam.
If you head to the area where the general store is, you can speak to Researcher Striving For Peace.
They are conducting research on lifeforms on Aster IV and want you to bring back a plant called Death Pansy.
Death Pansy mobs can be found in Aucerius Plains. You'll need to defeat 10 of them to complete the quest.
Once you've slayed enough, head back to Parrapoeiam and speak to Researcher Striving For Peace for your reward.
