The Hole - IdleOn

The Hole is an area in IdleOn where you can discover Caverns all containing unique mechanics that give various bonuses to your Idleon characters.

The Hole is located in World 5 Smolderin' Plateau at the map The Hole.

This guide looks at all the Villagers you can obtain at The Hole.

Check out our The Caverns guide for all the different Caverns you can find and how they work.

Villagers

Villagers are discovered in The Hole through the various Caverns that are available. Each Villager has a specific function that will expand as they level up.

When you find a Villager, click on them and they will then return to your Campsite unlocking their feature.

Opals

You can increase the speed at which a Villager levels up using Opals. Opals are special items found in The Hole, which you can give to any of your Villagers to increase the EXP they earn over time.

You can reset your spent Opals by visiting The Lamp in Cavern 7 and reinvest them.

The Hole

When a Villager levels up, it will expand the feature. The first Villager you find is Polonai, who is used to explore the Hole and discover Caverns. Once a Cavern has been discovered, you can explore it by clicking on The Hole at the campsite.

Each time you Level up Kaipu you'll learn a new set of Schematics. Each Schematic requires a particular resource to learn.

Bonuses

Each Level that Cosmo gains, you also gain 1 point to spend on various bonuses. There are three categories you can learn from:

  • Hole Majik - boosts upgrades for The Hole
  • Village Majik - Boosts your Villagers
  • IdleOn Majik - Boosts your characters on your IdleOn account

Once you learn the Cosmo, Enhance! you can then upgrade the bonuses further.

Motherlode Every layer destroyed lowers the resources needed to destroy other skilling caverns by 2% 2
The Den Defeating the Golden Hound gives a }x score multi and spawns another Golden Hound! 5
Bravery Minimum DMG is at least 3% of Max, and you now skip trivial fights! 3
The Bell Every 20th Bell Ring gives a random bonus +20 LVs. Biiig Ring baby! 20
The Harp All strings give 2x EXP, and have a 1% chance of getting a massive 100x EXP multi 100
The Lamp Get 1 more lamp wishes every day. No, you can\'t wish to change this! 1
The Hive Every hive harvested lowers the resources needed to destroy other skilling caverns by 5% 5
Grotto Each Gloomie kill counts for }x more toward challenging the Monarch 1
Justice Justice Reward Multi goes up 100% every day for +14 more days! Also, }x chance for opal reward! 50
The Jars Double click to choose a collectible to be most likely enchanted! Also, }x Enchantment Chance! 25
