Massive Troll is the World 4 Boss found at the end of Hyperion Nebula; once defeated you'll be able to unlock World 5. This boss has three difficulties: Normal, Chaotic and Nightmare.

You can access Troll from Hyperion Nebula / Enclave Of Eyes, using the Troll's Enclave Key.

Unlike previous bosses, the boss key for Massive Troll drops from mobs, so you can farm an unlimited amount! It is dropped from Stilted Seeker and the mini-boss Mutated Mush.

There are three difficulties of the Troll Boss Fight that you can face:

Troll's Boss Mechanics

The Troll boss has slightly different mechanics to other bosses. In order to deal damage to the Troll, you need to complete his tasks.

If you have defeated the Troll multiple times, you get 1-free hit at the start of the fight, so if you can 1-hit the boss, it's super easy. Once the first hit is over, you'll be given a random task to complete.

Mindful Games

Here are the possible tasks you'll need to complete. If you fail a task, the Troll will heal itself.

• Defeat 5 monsters within 20 seconds
• Kill all mobs within 25 seconds
• Kill all Purple shrooms within 35 seconds
• Kill monster closest to the middle of the screen
• I sure do love my soda; kill only the Crabcake monsters without hitting any Soda can mobs
• Roll a six from the spawned dice
• Deal 100 lines of damage
• Avoid Energy Orbs
• Kill 10 monsters without harming a green Mushroom
• Climb the rope within 10 seconds
• Coin flip

Defeating Massive Troll will allow you to collect the Magma Geode that allows you to unlock World 5: Smolderin Plateau

Troll Equipment

You can craft Troll Equipment gear at the Anvil Tab IV using drops from Troll and by unlocking his recipes at the World 4 Merit Shop.

Equipping all the Troll Equipment also unlocks the Troll Set Effect Bonus: 1.25x Higher Bonuses from Tome
