Golden Food are special items that drop from a variety of mobs and can be either equipped to your IdleOn characters in the Food Slot or deposited at The Beanstalk. This guide will show you the best mobs and maps to farm each Golden Food.
The Beanstalk can be found in World 6 and when you deposit a specific amount, you gain a permanent account-wide boost for all your IdleOn characters.
There are three tiers at The Beanstalk:
- Basic - Deposit 10,000 Golden Food
- Medium - Deposit 100,000 Golden Food (Unlocked via Jade Emporium)
- High - Deposit 1,000,000 Golden Food (Unlocked via World 7 Quest: Sad Urie (Plastic Basin map))
That means you're going to need to farm ALOT of Golden Foods!
You can also equip Golden Food into your Food Slots (they're never consumed!) so you can get even more bonuses. You can expand your Food Slots using the Gem Shop.
Mid-Game players in IdleOn can easily reach 1,000,000 Golden Food; if you're new to IdleOn, it's best to wait until you have around 300x Drop Rate to make the whole thing a lot easier.
Golden Food Locations and Mobs
Below you can find the best mobs to farm for Golden Food in IdleOn.
Remember, Item Drop Rate is extremely important for Farming Golden Food, so you want to try and get as much of it as possible to make the process easier (Royal Guardian gives plenty of free drop rate)
For many of the Golden Foods, you can also use Time Candy to get the drops instantly. Only the Golden Foods found from World 7 mobs do not work with Time Candies.
Pro-Tip: For crafting items, especially when going for 1,000,000 units, you should put all the materials in your Inventory and craft from there. Crafting directly from Storage is ALOT slower.

You can also obtain Gold Food Coupon from the Whimsical Colosseum in World 6. This item gives a random Golden Food when consumed, but they drop in huge bundles in the colosseum.
Colosseum Tickets are obtained from the World 1, World 2 and World 3 Colosseum NPCs. If you use the Upgrade Vault, when they are consumed, they will count at 2 entries.
