The Clamworks is an area you can find in IdleOn World 7 where you must defeat special clam mobs to earn a new Pearl Currency that you can spend on various upgrades.
You can find The Clamworks in World 7 Shimmerfin Deep / The Clamworks, accessed from the map Balloon Bay.
The Clamworks
The Clamworks allows you to farm Pearls by defeating Noble Clams, which can be spent on various upgrades to improve your rate of obtaining Pearls. Speak to Mr. Musselini to spend your Pearls.
You can also use your Pearls to Ask For A Promotion. If successful, you'll then be rewarded with an account bonus upgrade.
Ask For A Promotion has a % chance of succeeding; it lowers each time you are successful. Once you are successful, all your upgrades reset back to zero.
Your AFK Gains rate in this map is 1/5th of your normal rate; but you can park multiple characters in this map to help speed up the process.
Clamworks Upgrades
Below you can find all the upgrades available at The Clamworks. For an upgrade to appear, you must first collect the required amount of Pearls; once unlocked it stays unlocked until you unlock a new promotion.
The Required Pearls value to unlock each upgrade increases each time you successfully get a Promotion bonus. It uses this formula:

Workers Comp
Each time you successfully gain a promotion, you'll get a new permanent account bonus. They unlock in the following order:
