Coromon - Frozen Cavern and Titan Vorst - Walkthrough - Part 14

April 26, 2022

We now head to the Frozen Cave to take on the Titan Vorst after strange rocks started to appear all over Alavi. You'll be coming across lots of Ice Type Coromon, so make sure your Fire Types are well leveled.

We start this walkthrough heading to Frostpeak, which can be found on by exiting Alavi to the left or going through Fresia Pass to the right.

Boss Fight - Vorst

Titan Vorst

If you didn't guess already, Titan Vorst is Ice Type, and is weak to Fire Type Coromon. You can take Vorst out with two level 65+ Coromon, but hopefully your Squad has a little bit more depth than that. Water Coromon are weak to Ice, so you'll want to put those back into your Storage.

The first move of this fight is free- Vorst won't attack back. You can use this to cast a buff on your main Coromon for the fight.

Vorst will use Ice Flurry quite often, which is an attack that can hit up to three times. His other main attack is Avalanche, which hits very hard. Watch out for his Splash move (Water Type) which can wipe out your Fire Coromon pretty quickly!

Vorst's Pure Essence will kick in around <50% HP; he will freeze all the Coromon in your Squad. Make sure you have plenty of Spicy Cakes or Crany Fruit given to your Coromon to hold.

Check out the video below for more tips:

Jarl

After claiming the Titan Essence, exit the Frozen Cavern to meet Jarl, who tells you even more strange rocks have turned up and caused the whole village of Alavi to evacuate.

That wraps up part 14 of the Coromon Walkthrough! How did you find the latest Titan Vorst? Let us know in the comments!
