Coromon - Wostin Desert and The Scorching Sands - Walkthrough - Part 7

April 8, 2022

In this next part of the Coromon Walkthrough we venture deep into the Wostin Desert and find ourselves sweating in The Scorching Sands.

After saving Pawbury and collecting the Ghost Essence from Titan Illuginn, we find ourselves in Pawbury with no ghosts around! That means we can clean up and get some otherwise unobtainable loot. But first stop, head to the Hyperloop!

HyperLoop Burn Module

Inside the Hyperloop you'll come across Percy. Percy gives you a new Burn Module that you can use to burn down various objects! This will allow you to get some of those Treasure Chests in Pawbury.

Percy also mentions that the next Titan to find is at a place called the Pyramid of Sart. But before any of that, let's go get the last of the loot in Pawbury.

Pawbury Loot

Head to the Shop in Pawbury and burn through the hedges using your new Burn Module to reach the Treasure Chest containing Dream Spinner x2.

Loot

At the front of Pawbury near Soggy Swamp you can find a Treasure Chest with Ground Spinner x3.

420 Gold

Up near Furclaw Manor you can burn through the hedges to find a Treasure Chest containg 420x Gold.

Manastery Loot

Up near the Monastery, you can find a Silver Spinner next to one of the statues. On the other side you can find Spinner x2.

Now head back to the Hyperloop. In order to get to the Pyramid of Sart, we need to travel through the Wostin Desert.

The Wostin Desert is home to lots and lots of Sand Type Coromon. If you have any Water Type Coromon, now is the time to bring them out as they deal double damage against Sand.

You can use your new Burn Module to burn through the bushes and reach the next maps. The tiles can be a little hard to distinguish here.

Rana

In the top corner of the map is a trainer named Rana who has something called a Drill Shovel. She wants you to burn your way through the bush to the left (near the Treasure Chest). She will give you 600x Gold for your troubles.

Head to the top left of Wostin Desert to get to the next map.

Wostin Desert

Here you can open a Treasure Chest [1] for a SP Cake (L) and [2] a Liu Fruit. Head through the doorway to reach The Scorching Sands.

The Scorching Sands is the hottest place in Velua. You can only be out in the open for so long until you overheat and are teleported back to the last checkpoint.

Temperature

You can view your current temperature on the left. When you walk or run in the open sand, it goes up. You can reduce the gauge by finding shade under tents.

You can step on fields and the cracked/orange tiles and the gauge won't go up also.

You can find the following loot here:

  • [1] - Treasure Chest: Mull Fruit x2
  • [2] - Treasure Chest: Stinky Scent
  • [3] - Battle: Vartan

There is an area on the top right of the map that requires you to go down a bridge to get some Treasure Chests. You can get [8] and [9] by hugging the cracked sand at the top of the bridge and heading into the tall grass.

If you can't reach it, you can buy Sol Soda at the upcoming town, which will allow you to walk on the hot sand for longer periods.

Head to the cave to leave the Scorching Sands.

Wostin Desert

Pick up the Treasure Chest [1] to claim a Phoenix Stone and take the exit to the final area of Wostin Desert.

Coromon Rami

At the top right of this map you'll meet Rami. He says there is a terrifying Skulldra up ahead; you can move the boulder out of the way with your Push Module and then fight it (it's pretty easy!).

You can reach Dawn Valley from the left hand side of the map.

Dawn Valley Closed

Here you will meet Archie, where it seems like the Dig&Co area is closed off by some guards. A guy named Alon turns up, and speaks in the same way those Wubbonians do.

Something doesn't seem right!

Alon: I trust my guards will repel any intruders

Alon: *cough* I trust my guards will repel any intruders.

And that wraps up this part of the Coromon Walkthrough! Let us know if you've caught any good Coromon in the desert using the comments below!
