The long awaited IdleOn World 7 patch has finally been released and with it comes a host of updates to existing content as well as brand new skills, monsters, items and games!
It's been about 4 months since our last update with patch V2.41. This patch has been labeled as V1.00 for some reason- so we might be restarting version history. 😨
Since this update is one of the biggest in IdleOn history, we'll be slowly updating our IdleOn Item Database, Mobs and every other page in our IdleOn Wiki over the course of the next few months. Lots of areas have been updated and lots of values have changed, so bare with us!
World 7 - SHIMMERFIN DEEP

World 7 is called Shimmerfin Deep and you can access it by defeating The Emperor in World 6 and claiming a "Gem to W7" item.

World 7 introduces 12 new maps to explore, lots of new mobs, a new skill called Spelunkin and so much more!
You can also get new inventory expansion items from the General Shop, store your nametags and trophies in the Gallery so all your characters gain their bonuses and a new voting bonus called Multi Meritocracy.
If you head to the first maps, you'll also see that there have been some limits placed on them:
- Multikill requires 5x damage and is reduced by account strength (not sure what this refers to)
- Charred Skulls, Stacked Skulls and Memorial Skulls are banned
- Skill Efficiency Bonuses are reduced by 95% for the new skill Spelunkin
- Skill EXP Bonuses are reduced by 90% for the new skill Spelunkin

The new skill is called Spelunkin.
Here you select three of your characters to try and descend into each mine. At the bottom is a boss you can fight, which when defeated unlocks various bonuses.
You'll have to level your Spelunkin Skill by AFKing at various caves in the World 7 maps.
- 12 new maps to explore in W7! "Wait, 12 maps? Shouldn't there only be like 4 maps? I thought this was just part 1 of W7?" I hear you asking... yes 12, and yes this IS just part 1! World 7 is HUGE and will have over 26 maps, twice that of the 13 maps in previous worlds!
- New Skill: SPELUNKING! The first 'double' skill in IdleOn, having both a main feature as well as a collecting feature!
- Spelunking Main Feature: delve down tunnels, destroying rocks, collecting amber for upgrades, and defeating LORE bosses to unlock new idleon content!
- Spelunking Collecting Feature (it's like Mining, but for Spelunking): Go searching for "pages" in various caves throughout World 7 maps, like the one right outside of town! This works exactly like mining, where you need more efficiency to do collecting from better places. But there's a twist -- while "pages" are similar to ore in that they're used to craft things, you can ALSO hold down on them to read them, boosting your Spelunking stats!
- Humble Hugh's Coral Reef - rescue his Lil' Fishies from around World 7 to restore the Coral Reef, and upgrade each reef for HUGE game-changing bonuses! There are currently 4 fishies somewhere out there, but there will be more later...
- 12 new Mini Ninja Knowledge [UNLOCKED FROM THE CORAL REEF]
- The Gallery - filled with all your Trophies and Nametags, and gives ALL THEIR BONUSES to everyone! This way, you can equip whatever trophies and nametags you think are coolest on whoever you like! Summon Codfrey if you need help understanding how this works!
- Added the "Replica" Trophy & Nametag to the W7 town shop, making it simple to fit all your players with the coolest ones!
- TONS of new content to be found across the maps of Shimmerfin Deep (and even secrets, keep them to yourself when you find them shhh) scattered throughout World 7 maps -- Dancing coral, the clamworks, the almightly 11th divinity known only as "Coralkid", and more...
- New sailing island, with 4 new Artifacts [UNLOCKED IN SPELUNKING SKILL]
- Omnipotent Artifact tier -- comes after Sovereign [UNLOCKED IN SPELUNKING SKILL]
- 11 new Summoning upgrades, unit type, and opponents to beat [UNLOCKED IN SPELUNKING SKILL]
- 24 new gaming superbit upgrades to buy [UNLOCKED IN SPELUNKING SKILL]
- 60 new Farmer's Market upgrades to buy from the Exotic Market [UNLOCKED IN SPELUNKING SKILL]
- New Gaming feature - Palette! Add a bit of colour to your sprouts, and get 37 permanent bonuses for your efforts!
- Friend Bonuses are FINALLY here! Give friends a helping hand by sending them bonuses based on your Account LV, so the better you are at IdleOn, the better your bonus! First make sure "2x tap player" is ON in Options, then double click your buddy and "Add Friend". Now, find in the Friends section in Codex, click them, and select which bonus to send! You can even send multiple! Now your friend just needs to accept their incoming bonuses found in their own Codex! Woah!
- Anvil Tab VII can now be unlocked, which includes 24 new equipment and items to craft! Get the recipes from various monsters in World 7, which include armor, weapons, tools, material bags, and some more things!
- World 7 Gemshop section has been added, including 5 new items to buy!
- A new Companion set is now available - the Shallow Waters Companions! Whallamus awaits his new owner! Your free weekly companion will come from this set too :D
- 3 new gemshop purchases to World 5 and 6 sections, as the time-skip gemshop items have been moved to the Oddities section
- 4 new Meals in cooking, find their recipes using the new Spice aquired from breeding!
- 9 new vials based around new resources and monster drops in World 7!
- New minigame: Swishy Hoops! It's the same basketball, but you get 3 lives, and earn Ball Points to spend at the new shop in the Bored Bean map! Remember, there's a trophy waiting for anyone who gets 40+ score...
- New minigame: Throwy Darts! Throw darts, hit the bullseye, and earn Bart Points to spend at the new shop in the Baby Boa Snakes map! There's a trophy waiting for anyone who hits a 9 darter, which is 9 bullseyes in a row!
- 5 new upgrades added to Killroy's Skull Shop... but only after you get him on his revenge arc and expand his business...
- Added the remaining missing recipes from Anvil Tabs I, II, IV, and VI - a few of which are unlocked via the old Task Unlocks feature, and the rest being dropped by various monsters. Remember to click the "question-mark" symbols in the anvil to see how to get the recipe!
- Final 2 star talents added to the VIP talent library!
- Kattlekruk now gives his Divinity Link Bonuses - but only 1 character can link to him, just like with Purrmep
- 4 new Jade Emporium purchases, including the Crop Scientist's 9th Writing Utensil bonus!
- 11 new Tome metrics to get Tome PTS from!
- 7 new nametags to earn from Tome! Claim them every month based on your Percentile Rank!
- 7 new stamps, earned primarily from 2 new Piggy NPCs found in World 7!
- 3rd tier of Beanstacking added, requiring 1 MILLION gold food! [You must unlock this 3rd tier through Sad Urie's Quest]
Quality Stuff
- NEW DAMAGE TIER - CRYSTAL! 1 Crystal damage is equal to 1,000,000 Trillion damage. This new notation will show up in BLUE, in both your Player Stats, and in AFK Info. For example, if you hit for 173,000,000 Trillion damage, you will do 173 Crystal damage instead; similarly, if a monster has 250,000,000T HP, it will show up as 250 Crystal HP!
- 5 NEW COIN TIERS! 100 Eclipse coins will get you 1 Neuro Coin, 100 of those gets you 1 Isometric Coin, 100 of those gets you 1 Cyber Coin, 100 of those gets you 1 Synthesis Coin, and 100 of those gives you 1 Polarity Coin!
- Added ORION to the codex! Also, you can now switch between Orion & Poppy instantly!
- Kunai no longer drop in Sneaking once you've untied all 10 characters.
- Added a "(?)" Help Button to Tome Ranking, find it next to your ranking. Clicking it will tell you how many points you need to reach the next Tome Rank!
- You can now hold-down on Ninja Knowledge upgrades in Sneaking
- You can now hold-down on the "reset-spiral" upgrades at Poppy's fish pond
- You can now double-click a character on the Main Menu to play, instead of having to press the "Play" sign!
- Damage scaling changed - larger numbers are harder to get! [NOTE: This change only affects damage above 10,000,000T (now known as 10 Crystal dmg) This is baked into the code of the game, not applied to accounts -- so everyone is affected the same at all times now and forever. This is actually the THIRD time I've done this, the last time being 4 years ago. Nobody got any bonuses taken away, the way damage is calculated is just different.
Balance Changes
- Emperor HP scales up slower, so that the new damage scaling change does not affect what Showdown you can defeat.
- Multi-character locked portals in World 6 now require less people to unlock -- most significantly, the final lock requires 3 of your players instead of 9 to unlock
- Windwalker Upgrade Costs reduced -- the further away from the center, the more the reduction
- The Lab Chip that doubled your trophy now gives +10% gallery bonus once you reach W7 (else it would be useless)
- The Lab Chip that doubled your active starsigns now doubles all infinite starsigns once you unlock infinite starsigns (no more micromanaging starsigns at all)
- The amount of balls you get from killroy is increased from 6 -> 10, but there is now a maximum amount you can buy each week
- Emperor Set now requires 7 equipment instead of 6, with the 7th one being the new Bramble of the Emperor pendant, unlocked via the old Task Unlocks feature.
- Gaming sprouts grow a bit slower depending on how good your Crop Scientist is (this is actually a bug fix based on Crop Scientist previously giving more than 100% chance of success for evo, but the effects of me fixing this bug essentially make it a balance change. You will be able to more than recover from upgrading the new Palette feature, so do not be alarmed by the change at first)
- Some MSA bonuses were buffed (Farming EXP, Jade gain, Cooking EXP, Class EXP, and Essence gain)
- Yang cogs slightly buffed - this buff will be applied to all yang cogs, not just newly purchased ones. This is because they are promised to have the best stats.
- Removed the small healer enemies from late-game Pet Territory fights , and reduced enemy HP, making it easier to win and unlock those new spices.
- Drop rates of time candies scale differently, they're now easier to get for noobs but harder to get for pros -- pros will still get them way more often than noobs, but I mean compared to before.
- Adjusted the amount of Tome PTS of a few metrics, around 15 of the bigger ones, to now give more points -- things like Account LV, items found, artifacts, and other metrics that are very indicative of how good you be doing in the IdleOn
- Adjusted the breakpoint for Tenteyecle's reduction of 1 sec
- Re-arranged Tome metrics to be even better organized in-order of worlds, with the "main" ones up top.
- Bowman's Speedna now caps out at 2000% move speed, instead of having no cap.
- Veins of the Infernal talent now caps out at Smithing Lv 100, instead of having no cap.
- The pristine charm issue is fixed
