Challenger World is a new temporary world added to MapleStory GMS where you can create brand new characters from scratch and enjoy huge EXP rates as well as take on unique challenges for rewards.
Challenger World is very similar to Burning World, but this time Challenger World is open to both Interactive and Heroic (reboot) servers!
Any characters you create in Challenger World you will then be able to transfer over to your main server once the world closes.
Challenger World was introduced first for patch V.260 for the Stargazer Update.
Choosing The Right Challenger World
Before you dive in to make your new MapleStory characters, make sure you choose the right Challenger World!
There are two types: Challenger-Interactive and Challenger-Heroic.
Any characters in the Challenger-Interactive world will be able to move to any Interactive Server.
Likewise for Challenger-Heroic, you'll be able to move them to Heroic servers.
Challenger World Bonuses
Challenger World is a the exact same world as the main MapleStory, with all the bosses, monsters and items available. However, there are some differences and tweaks made:
You get up to 3 Tera Burning characters (3 Levels in one go!).
Every new character will gain the following buffs and stats throughout the duration of the world:
- EXP obtained increased to 1.5x rate.
- +50 ATT/Magic ATT
- Normal Enemy Damage +30%
- Boss Damage +30%
- Ignore Defense +30%
- Critical Rate +30%
- Critical Damage +30%
- Buff Duration +30%
- Knockback Resistance +100%
- All Stats +50
- Max HP & MP +2500
Every character also gets the following starter pack by clicking on the Claim Creation Reward:
- Pearl Maple Armor Set Box: Untradable, 7-day duration.
- Pearl Maple Hat: Untradable, Permanent.
- Pearl Maple Suit: Untradable, Permanent.
- Pearl Maple Cape: Untradable, Permanent.
- Pearl Maple Gum: Untradable, Permanent.
- Pearl Maple Pendant: Untradable, Permanent.
- Pearl Maple Buckle: Untradable, Permanent.
- Power Elixir x1000: Untradable, Permanent.
- Spell Trace x1000

Challenger World Missions
The Challenger World Missions are unique to Challenger Worlds.
You'll be able to obtain Challenger Points and Challenger Coins for completing specific missions.
Challenger Points will be used to increase your rank and you'll gain bonus rewards for reaching those tiers. Reaching Emerald Tier allows you to claim the rewards on your other server.

Challenger Missions
There are three types of missions you can complete:
- Daily (5x per week)
- Level Up Missions
- Boss Missions
The Daily Mission requires you to defeat 1,000 mobs near your level. You'll get the following rewards:
- 100 Challenger Points
- 300 Challenger Coins
The Level Up Missions start at Level 260! You'll get coins for reaching the following levels on any character:

Moving Characters From Challenger World
You can create up to 5 characters in Challenger World and all of them will be automatically moved Challenger Leap Zone.
Make sure you save the dates for when the Challenger Leap Zone starts, as this is when you will be able to move your characters over.
For V260, there are two leap dates:
- 1st Challenger World Leap: August 27 (after maintenance) - September 23 at 11:59 PM UTC
- 2nd Challenger World Leap: September 24 (after maintenance) - October 16 at 11:59 PM UTC
