MapleStory GMS has put out a recruitment alert for players who want to play an Alpha version of the new upcoming MapleStory Classic game. This is your chance to get an early-look at the classic version of MapleStory and how Nexon will look to implement any changes to the old-school experience.
The Classic Playtest will allow players to get early-access to the in-development game, which has only recently been revealed back in April.
In order to take part, you'll need to fill out the Classic Playtest form AND be able to head to their Nexon NA office in El Segundo, CA. Not much information has been shared about what the playtest will entail, however, players will be able to share their feedback on the playtest to help improve the game ready for launch.

You'll also need a Level 200 character account on MapleStory GMS to be able to register your interest.
Upon accepting the Terms Of Use, you'll need to fill out the playtesting screening survey, which asks you various questions about your familiarity with MapleStory, the gaming industry and if you have experience playtesting games.
Details regarding what the actual playtest entails have not been released, but most likely participants will have to sign some sort of NDA which will prevent details from being released.
Hopefully they'll also do a larger playtest that is online as many players are excited to share their feedback with the development of a Classic version of MapleStory. There are still so many questions about what is Nexon NA's vision for the server, especially surrounding monetization, europe and NA servers, class balancing and more!
